Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and Commentary to the Prayer of Request to the Lord of All Lineages with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Through receiving the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, we will gain a profound blessing that draws us close to Buddha and empowers us to realize his every instruction.

After granting the empowerment, Gen-la Khyenrab will teach us how to follow in the footsteps of Buddha by practising the stages of the path of Sutra and Tantra as explained in the Prayer of Request to the Lord of All Lineages.

This precious meditation prayer was composed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for daily contemplation which will awaken our heart to its fullest spiritual potential. As Venerable Geshe-la says “There is no greater meaning than engaging in this practice”.

Enjoy the company of like-minded friends from around Asia as we come together for 4-days to receive Buddha’s blessings and teachings. Everybody Welcome!

Teachings will be conducted in English with Cantonese and Mandarin translation.

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is a retired General Spiritual Director, National Spiritual Director for Canada, and Resident Teacher at KMC Canada. An ordained Buddhist monk, Gen-la has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe-la for 40 years. He is widely admired for his profound understanding of the teachings of modern Kadampa Buddhism and his ability to present them in clear, practical ways that are easy to follow and put into practice in the modern world. He regularly teaches at international and national events and is greatly admired for his humility, humour and pure example.
